Check out Emma Talbot, new illustrator for John Crane

You can't have failed to notice that we are huge John Crane fans here at The Madhouse. We've reviewed numerous John Crane products and loved them all. You can click through to read our reviews of their High Tea Shape Matching Game, Woodenmum Family, Little Cottage, 100 piece wooden train set, Lion Castle, Wooden Teaching Clock, ... We even created a whole blog (which you can access from my sidebar just under my profile) about what Jenny Woodenmum got up to over the course of an entire summer (and took her to Turkey and Brittany with us !!).

Well, needless to say, when the opportunity arose on twitter to receive a special limited edition print from Emma Talbot courtesy of John Crane, we jumped at the chance. Emma, the fresh new face in the illustration industry, has been snapped up by John Crane to work alongside Product Design Manager, Stewart Betts, to create and design new toys for the Tildo Timeless Toys range. This year will see all new toys from the range featuring Emma's illustrations and, if this gorgeous panda print is anything to go by, they'll be incredibly cute and appealing to children.

These limited edition prints, which were handed out to the press at the 2012 Toy Fair, are extra special because they are numbered from 1 to 40 - we got number 17. Who knows ? Maybe they'll end up as collectors' items ! Our only dilemma is which bedroom to put it in because all three of the Madhouse Mini Testers want it !!
