Sunday weigh-in : Groundhog day !


I think my scales have been superglued in place ... or it's Groundhog day and I'm reliving the same weigh-in over and over again. It's getting beyond a joke ! On the plus side, no gain this week and it's the school holidays which has meant extra treats and baking, so it's not all bad !

Positives of the week

- I've been eating whatever I want but in sensible quantities. Everything in moderation is definitely the way to go - although it's my birthday next week so that may not happen ! With the colder weather, we're craving soups which is always a healthy option :)

- Loads of long walks this week - 15km to the beach and around the docks, 10km in the countryside ... plus repapering the toilet walls, climbing up and down a ladder loads of times and stretching so I had aches in muscles I didn't even know existed afterwards !

Current targets 

Last week's target :  Be active - get out for long walks with the kids, stay away from the snacks, listen to the slimpod (DONE except for the Slimpod which slipped my mind)


This week's targets : Second week of the holidays so same again - be active, get out for long walks with the kids, listen to the slimpod, don't overdo it for my birthday. Right, next week, I'm putting the pressure on to lose 1lb and hit my second mini-target. It shouldn't be hard !

Short-term targets 

(1) get back into the 80's
(2) get my "lbs lost" back into double figures
(3)  get my "weight to lose" badge down into the 40's 
 (4)  get back to 87kg, my pre-holiday weight 
(5) get my "kg lost" badge back into double figures 
(6) get my "weight loss" badge higher than my "still to go" badge
(7) get back into my (smallest) bright blue jeans comfortably
(8) get back to 77kg - my lowest weight since my pregnancies

Longer-term targets :  Hit my target weight of 70kg.

START WEIGHT :93.7kg (BMI 34.8)
TARGET WEIGHT : 70kg (BMI 26)
WEIGHT LAST WEEK  : 89.6kg (BMI 33.3)
WEIGHT TODAY : 89.6kg (BMI 33.3)
WEIGHT LOST SO FAR :  4.1kg
STILL TO GO : 19.6kg
CHANGE THIS WEEK : -0kg

  1. I think your walking is doing you the world of good. And if the scales don't go up then that's a positive.

  2. A maintain is always better than a gain in my books! Sounds like all the walking has outweighed any half term treats!

  3. You walk so much chick!! You keep doing what you are doing - you know the holidays are the time when it's easier to relax a little - you watch next week. As for your birthday, I hope you had a fantastic day and enjoyed yourself!! You can do it and hit your next mini target love! Sim xx
